Luísa Pinto Ferreira

PhD in Organic Chemistry from FCT NOVA in 1994 and researcher at LAQV-REQUIMTE, Associate Laboratory for Green Chemistry - Chemistry and Technology Network. Has developed her scientific activity in projects that highlight the multidisciplinary aspects of organic chemistry with a focus on developing new synthesis methodologies in problems ranging from food science to conservation, including the challenges of toxicology. Currently is coordinating the Portuguese participation on the MEDCLIV project team that aims to apply participatory approaches to developing climate change adaptation and mitigation solutions for the vine and wine value chain in the Mediterranean area.
